About Rob

38-year old Rob Fagan retired from the Canadian team and World Cup races at the end of the 2014 season, but is still doing events he enjoys, X Games and the Baker Banked Slalom specifically. Rob is a seasoned X Games competitor, but has only made the Final once -- in his first appearance -- 2001. He's an athletic coach for Reign Snowboarding, a program for upcoming snowboarders. Sporting a broken ankle from November, Rob claims to heal like a wolverine and he'll "rock it." Originally on track to become a pro golfer, he tries to get in 30 days a year.

  • Rob only made one X Games Final in nine Snowboarder X appearances: he placed fourth during his rookie year in 2001. He has bronze from the long defunct UltraCross and has made three World Cup podiums placing second in all. He was also the 2002 Canadian National Champion.
