About Cheryl

An accomplished veteran with some of the best style in the game, Maas was the first woman to land a 900 in slopestyle competition and continues to push the sport with big spins and stylish rails. She first learned to snowboard on the dry slopes of the Netherlands and has gone on to become a 3-time Olympian for the Dutch national team. Now living in Oslo, Norway, her all-time X Games highlight was landing a backside 900 tailgrab at XG Oslo 2016 to win Big Air gold in front of her two young daughters, Lara and Mila. The win made her the first Dutch female to earn an X Games medal.
