About Brady

2010 XG Skier X bronze medalist Brady Leman is off to a great start in 2015/16, with 4 podiums in the first 7 World Cup races. He missed the 2010 Olympics (and XG 2011) after breaking his femur, but came back at Sochi 2014, finishing 4th for Canada. XG Aspen 2016 will be his 4th Skier X appearance; he finished 7th when Skier X was last part of XG in 2012. Since then, he's purchased a house and gone back to school. A generous competitor, he enjoys working with young skiers to give them the same positive experience he received growing up. The Calgary native plays hockey in a beer league.

  • Finished 7th in Skier X at XG 2012 & 2009; has bronze from 2010 (as part of the Canadian sweep, Chris Del Bosco took gold, Dave Duncan silver). Missed WX 2011 because of a broken right femur.
  • Finished 2nd on the FIS World Cup series in 2012 (to Filip Flisar).
  • Finished 4th at the 2014 Olympics.
  • Early 2016 season: 4 podiums in 7 World Cup races: 2nd at the Innichen, ITA World Cup (Dec. 19, 2015) and Montafon, AUT (Dec. 5), 3rd at both France and Italy.
  • Outside of skiing he works for a bank, RBC, doing PR work and public appearances.
