About Tom

Known for his finesse on jumps and innovative rail skills, Wallisch was the most dominant slopestyle skier on the planet in both 2012 and 2013. He has gold from X Games Aspen 2012 and has the FIS World Championships title from 2013. After tearing his left ACL in Oct. 2013, Wallisch skied the entire Olympic qualification process injured. (He couldn't land any of his tricks forward.) Still, he just barely missed the X Games Aspen 2014 Final, finishing 9th. He went under the knife right after Aspen 2014, and X Games Aspen 2015 is his first competition back. When he's not turning heads on skis, Tom attendsthe University of Utah and has made the Dean's list twice. He expects to finish school in summer 2015 with a business administration degree.

  • Tom took home X Games Slopestyle gold in Aspen 2012 with the highest X Games Ski Slopestyle score in men's history: 96.00. It's his only medal in 6 X Games comps. Tom tore his left ACL in Oct. 2013 and skied the entire Olympic qualification injured. He had surgery right after X Games Aspen 2014 and missed the rest of the season. He Amazing 2012 season: Overall Dew Tour winner and AFP slopestyle winner in addition to X Games gold.
