About Darrin

Darrin Mees finished 4th place at the X Games Snow BikeCross on December 16, 2017 while his wife, Ashlee took over the X Games Instagram account. The former X Games SnoCross athlete quit snocross racing in 2015, moved to Redmond, Oregon, and took up snow bikes just in time for the X Games debut of Snow BikeCross in 2017. He finished 10th in the discipline's XG debut, deep in lapped traffic, but has since spent more time on the bike and won the opening round of the ISOC Snow Bike series in November. He also competed in his first AMA EnduroCross race in 2017, finishing 5th at Medford, OR. He owns M9 Suspension, and does all his own racing suspension work and other tuning.

  • XG Aspen 2018 will be his 5th XG appearance. 10th in Snow BikeCross in 2017. 6th in SnoCross in 2014.
  • Won the opening round of the 2017/2018 ISOC Snow Bike series in Duluth (November).
  • 4th place at the 2018 X Games Qualifier in mid
  • December.
  • ISOC Snocross Rookie of the Year in 2012 (retired from Snocross circuit in 2015).
