About Christy

Christy scored a Slopestyle bronze as an XG rookie in 2015, becoming the first female from New Zealand to medal in an X Games winter event. She went on to win slopestyle at the Burton European Open, a career highlight. She approached the start of her 2016 season gingerly; she's recovering from a bone bruise suffered in practice at the New Zealand Winter Games last August, and she placed 5th at X Games Aspen 2016. Prior is a talented rider with excellent style. With tricks like her Cab underflip and frontside spins off the toes, look for the Kiwi to contend for the podium in Big Air at X Games Oslo.
