About Landon

X Games rookie Landon McGauley, 20, is the youngest competitor in the Mono Skier X field. A T4/T5 paraplegic McGauley was injured on his mountain bike on July 4, 2010. Four months later, he was making turns in a sit-ski. A member of the BC Para Alpine Ski Team, he has been competing in adaptive events since 2011. This Canadian park rat is looking forward to the big jumps on the X course and racing against long-time mentor and friend Josh Dueck.
