About Klaudia

Klaudia Medlova is a Slovakian snowboarder who is at the forefront of a progressive movement in women's snowboarding. The 24-year-old made history in March 2015 when she became the first woman to land a double backside rodeo (Nine Queens, Austria) and again in December 2016 when she became the first woman to land a double cork off a jump in competition (Copper Grand Prix, frontside double cork 1080). Klaudia grew up riding the local mountain of Jasna Nizke Tatry with her family and also competed in gymnastics for 12 years, starting at the age of 4.
