In addition to top-level Moto X, BMX, RallyCross and Skateboarding, X Games' debut in Austin, Texas, delivered live music, food trucks, a movie theater showing films, a silent disco and a 360-degree observation deck 251 feet above all of the festivities, making X Games Austin a one-of-a-kind festival experience. Here's a glimpse at what this event had to offer.

Watching all of that Skateboarding and Moto X works up a fierce hunger. Lucky for those festival-goers the many flavors of Texas were represented, including monster burritos and giant barbecue turkey legs.
The KUTX Experience Austin Music Stage featured 10 local bands, including garage rock band English Teeth, pictured here, which closed out its set with the roaring protest song "Public Domain Protest Song" and a special shout out to Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis.
Kanye West played a sold-out show Saturday night at X Games Austin on the eve of his 37th birthday. His new wife, Kim Kardashian, was also in attendance.
San Diego group Wavves delighted fans to a colorful set packed full of fun, distorted surf rock. A mosh pit broke out to the band's infectious track "Lunge Forward" and a super fan danced alone while wearing a red cap.
Show Your Texas Pride
While many festival-goers were rocking the latest summer festival fashion trends of boho chick headbands, high-waisted shorts and crocheted tops, some went out on a limb to wave their freak flag high and proud.
Too busy to schedule a trim? No problem, X Games Austin had you covered. While most guys (and some ladies) stopped in to the Barber Shop to take just a little off the bottom, some left with a cut a little more extreme.
A badge of honor or a cool marketing tool? Festival-goers prolonged the stoke of X Games Austin with a temporary tattoo.
The indoor Velocity Lounge at X Games Austin featured the best in EDM, including Cash Cash, Mystery Skulls and Candyland. Fans were treated to face-melting bass and thanks to air conditioning, near arctic conditions.
