Drew Hosselton, Anchorage, Alaska
"Alaska is renowned more for its blue glaciers and incredible, picturesque landscapes than roadside DIY setups, but the Turnagain Arm has both. While shooting around the Anchorage area for an upcoming Maintain video project, Drew Hosselton and I made a stop at this overlook and caught a windy, but awesome, session on this modded-out barrier just before the golden sun dipped behind the horizon." -- Rob Dolecki

The Crew, Switzerland
"This image was taken in late April. The whole resort of Laax was closed, but they groomed the park just for us to use for a two-week session. At the end of the last day everybody was slashing the pipe at the same time. It took the riders three tries to get it perfectly synchronized -- especially with the drop in. Twelve people dropping at the same time into the halfpipe? That was pretty amazing to watch." -- Dominic Zimmermann

Nisse Ingemarsson, Spain
"Being skateboarders, you try to innovate and push the boundaries of what is skateable. Yeah, a perfect marble ledge or a handrail is cool at times, but when you can remove yourself from the norm and create something innovative out of the ordinary it's always special! Nisse decided to take things in that direction and somehow found a tree that was miraculously bent over and skateable!" -- Jake Darwen

Brandon Semenuk, Garberville, California
"Pulling off a 'G-Turn' on this dirt up-box was one of the heaviest moves in Brandon Semenuk's latest 'RAW 100' edit. For the series' 4th installment Brandon, filmer Rupert Walker, and myself were fortunate enough to shoot on this beautiful property in Garberville, California, that had a mix of open meadows and lush forest. Thanks to incredible sculpting done by builders Dan Fleury, Evan Young and Will Clifford, Brandon got to really push the creative limits in a way that only he knows how." -- Ian Collins

Matehau Tetopata, Tahiti
"This is Matehau Tetopata, one of the biggest chargers of Teahupo'o, surfing the heaviest wave of Tahiti during one of the many big swells we had earlier this season. Matehau is known for going on the biggest wave of the day. Here he is at ease, holding his line and traveling through the barrel." -- Ben Thouard

Tony Ellis, Portland, Oregon
"This is one of those spots that looks like it would be amazing, and is really good for photos, but is so hard to skate -- which actually fits Tony's charging style really well. Here, he popped up to nosegrind tailgrab the barrier from a micro bump that wraps around it, and then landed back in the bump." -- Tal Roberts

Theodore Van Orman, Harbor Beach, Michigan
"Growing up in Michigan, summers were filled with bike riding and being on the water. The Third Coast offers stunning fresh-water vantage points and beautiful sunsets. I came across this boardwalk in Harbor Beach on a weekend camping trip. After riding around the area, I decided to compose a photograph and enter the frame as the focal point, while my wife triggered the exposure." -- Theodore Van Orman

Halldór Helgason, Sweden
"This was our last day shooting street in Stockholm with Halldór Helgason for his upcoming movie part. He had been dropping hammers all week, but I wanted a more artsy photo. We'd been passing this big Post Office and I had seen this metal bridge outside of their big windows that I wanted to get a reflection shot of. There was basically no snow left so we had to scrape for the in-run and landing. I asked Halldór if he could back lip it and a couple of tries later we had a photo!" -- Daniel Bernstål

Jarryd McNeil, Temecula, California
"Jarryd McNeil cracks a whip during sunset at his home training facility. He can often be found utilizing all the light a day has to offer to stay on top of the sport. That is why he is a three-time X Games Best Whip gold medalist." -- Chris Tedesco

Tom Asta, Scappoose, Oregon
"I'm a big fan of shadows. I also really like to shoot skaters who have great flip tricks. So for me it doesn't get much better than when the two come together, like in this shot of Tom's switch heelflip." -- Tal Roberts
