Sticking To His Guns
"I wanted to do something a little bit different," Hansen says. "I kind of looked into the whole sports thing and I've always loved the Lakers. I think a bunch of people have kind of sold out on them and now go to the Clippers, so I stick to my guns."

Looking Good
"For (sponsor) Jeff Cernic to give me a bike and for him to tell me, 'Man, make sure your bike's looking good,'" Hansen says, "I said, 'Well, I'll make sure I do that.' This is what I came up with and this is all his parts and everything."

Raptor Titanium Footpegs
With Moto X Racing in mind, Hansen's bike has Raptor titanium footpegs. "We have a big hole in them so when were racing, the holes keep the pegs from collecting mud," mechanic Tim Beatty says.

No Pipe Dream
"Crower built a special cam for it for Step Up just to give the bike a lot more torque, basically. The bike has got the FMF pipe and runs on MR12 VP race gas, which adds quite a bit of power," Beatty says.

Basically Stock
"It's basically a stock bike that is already done," Hansen says. "Its not like you have to get factory this or factory that. This shows you how badass this stock Suzuki is."

Putting It All Together
"I have over 20 of hours of work in it. I mean a lot of the powder coat was all done when I got the bike. I basically just had to put it all together," Beatty says.

Power
"The back has a five-speed transmission," Beatty says. "The bike actually has so much torque that we went down one tooth on the rear sprocket. We geared it taller and we're running a 51 right now. We may possibly go to a 50."

Nitrate Coating
"The wiring is wrapped in gold heat shield wrap. The suspension is actually all stock but everything has been coated, inside and out, with titanium nitrate coating. All the brake calipers and the carriers and the gas tanks are powder coated," Beatty says.

Weight Watcher
"Stock, the bike weighs 249 pounds," Beatty says. "We didn't really shave much weight off it, maybe three or four pounds with titanium, but other than that not too much weight has been taken off it. The bike has Dubya wheels and Leo Vince carbon fiber."
