About Torah

Torah is one of the brightest stars in women's snowboarding. She's been a fixture on the contest circuit for 15 years -- she made her Grand Prix debut in 2001 at age 14. In 2016, Torah makes her 11th X Games appearance; she's a two-time gold medalist (2007 & 2009) and owns five overall medals, including bronze from 2015. The bubbly Australian also won gold at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. In 2014, she pulled off an enormous feat by competing in three separate disciplines at the Sochi Olympics: halfpipe, slopestyle and boardercross; she was the only person to do that, man or woman. In September 2015, Torah was married to fellow Australian snowboarder Angus Thomson.
