Adam Ü, Japan
Fall is here, Winter is coming, and we're back with a selection of top shots from across the action sports universe! From the Southern Ocean to the Canadian Rockies, we've scoured the photo landscape to bring you the best visuals from our talented lensmen and lenswomen. "Last winter I was skiing with Adam in Shiga-Kogen, Japan. We knew there were monkeys in the area based upon numerous signs warning us to keep the hotel windows closed. However, we never expected to see one while skiing. After a classic day of skiing bottomless powder, we decided to drop in for one last run when we accidentally spooked a monkey that had been stealthily watching us in the trees. The monkey ended up bolting across my frame just as Adam dropped in. I'm pretty sure he was just as surprised as us!" - Grant Gunderson

Nick Wey, Murrieta, California
"Nick Wey is a motocross journey man. The 37-year-old father of three is retired from professional motocross racing but still knows how to throw a bike around. We captured this shot near the end of winter this year in Murrieta, California to help promote his grass roots ride days all over the U.S. Our initial plan was to capture everything on the motocross track, but once I found out we could use this pile of shredded rubber, I knew we could capture something special. I ate some nasty stuff that day but it was worth it for the shot!" - Ryne Swanberg

Charles Reid, Canada
"This frozen waterfall sits at the top of a massive hill that it so steep that snowmobiles can't go up it. I have wanted to shoot at this spot for a while but most riders aren't into the hike. It took almost an hour of boot packing straight up in waist deep snow with all my camera gear to get to this angle. It was one of my first times shooting with Charles Reid so I was stoked he was down to hit it a couple times even though it meant he had to hike back up after every hit." - Erin Hogue

Beau Pilgrim, Fiji
"Conditions were flawless this day, Beau Pilgrim was screaming past me wave after wave in the barrel, and we lost a little bit of sun towards the end of the session. So we decided to work on some close up underwater images, I love how his hand drags through the wall of the wave; you can almost reach out and high five the surfer from underneath." - Stuart Gibson

Will Wesson, Syracuse, New York
"Some urban rails, you try immediately. Some, you wait for years to try. In March, I went with Will Wesson to his urban skiing stomping grounds of Syracuse, New York. After 15 years of looking at this seemingly impossible curly cue handrail topped with soft, rotting wood, it was finally deemed possible." - Erik Seo

Bryce Benifield, Richmond, Kentucky
"We shot this photo of Bryce Benifield's kickflip wallride in Richmond, Kentucky for a video project called 'FOURPLAY,' filmed by Chris Smith. I have grown up with these guys, so working together feels natural. The chemistry you have between the skateboarder and yourself as the photographer is crucial because of the trust you instill in each other. When you have that, the possibilities are endless." - Grant Moxley

Tully Wylie, Southern Ocean
"This photo of Tully Wylie was taken on a spur of the moment trip a few weeks ago to a remote beach in the Southern Ocean. Despite being a beach break, I think it's super tricky to figure out, and initially, Tully felt the same out there. But once he got his head into it, waves like this were on tap. This image strikes me because of the way the lip frames him so well." - Ed Sloane

Corbin Selfe, Canada
"Corbin Selfe of Sicamous, B.C., folds a 360 tabletop into an inspirational sunset, giving closure to a memorable session on a tranquil property overlooking Lake Okanagan in Kelowna, B.C." - Theodore Van Orman

Mark Gutterman, Murphys, California
"This photo was shot on the very first Lovesick skateboards trip. Aleks Lewandowski took the crew up to Murphys, California in hopes of finding some unique spots outside of your usual California school yards. Armed with six sheets of plywood strapped to the roof of the van, we struck gold up in the old California mining towns when we drove past these stacks of hay barrels. Mark Gutterman hasn't jumped a gap in a while but couldn't help himself when he saw this 'natural roof gap.'" - Ben Karpinski

Garrett Byrnes, New Jersey
"In addition to the really fun transitioned structures that make up the Ramp Ranch DIY barn setup in New Jersey, it also doubles as a strategically laid-out storage facility for all types of property maintenance equipment and motorcycles, utilizing any open spaces under the ramps. This barn has seen some heavy sessions with many notable names over the past year; this one in particular included Garden State native and iconic legend Garrett Byrnes. Some of the tools used to build the ramps were already sitting in the foreground, and really accented this capture." - Rob Dolecki
