Every month on XGames.com we take 10 of the most remarkable photos from across the action sports universe and feature them in a gallery called "Zoom." Harrison Arcari, Woodbridge, New Jersey
"After getting balled up in rush hour traffic, by the time I got to this Woodbridge New Jersey overpass, nightfall and a crisp fall breeze were quickly setting in. Low-visibility aren't the best conditions for sending a massive barspin drop like this, but met up with New Jersey native and all-around shredder Harrison Arcari is a beast. After one warm-up drop, he sent it like a champ." -- Rob Dolecki

Tom Parsons, Death Valley, California
"Tom Parsons and I searched for two years to find the perfect location to capture riding under the Milky Way Galaxy's Galactic Core, which is located about 25,000 light years from Earth. It can only be seen in remote regions far from light pollution during certain times of year. There also had to be something Tom could jump at night. With many variables involved, we came up short on numerous occasions, in different locations. That motivated and taught us the steps to take to create this scientific photo." -- Chris Tedesco

Zion Wright, Hawthorne, California
"This smith grind of Zion Wright's was shot at an old, abandoned shopping mall in Hawthorne, California. This place was spooky and looked very post Apocalyptic, which made it a perfect backdrop for some epic photos." -- Anthony Acosta

Anakin Senn, Portland, Oregon
"The newest section of Burnside sits right up against a recently-constructed condo complex where Anakin Senn was able to put some distance into this boneless, following the blocks over the hole and around the bend. Shout out to Burnside's new neighbors for adding some great angles to shoot the park from." -- Tal Roberts

Mormon Maitui, Tahiti
"This is local kid Mormon Maitui getting in position in the barrel of Teahupo'o in Tahiti. I love how the underwater angle describes everything of this spot!" -- Ben Thouard

Marius Syvänen, Australia
"This was a photo that I've had my mind set on shooting for the last few years. The only problem is that it's on the other side of the world! The stars aligned a couple of months ago when we were traveling through the town in Australia where this bowl is. It's literally a couple hundred meters away from the tarmac! Marius and I started timing how long it took before planes arrived. Marius would stand there waiting until we could see the plane slowly approaching and he would go for it. It took a long time to get it precise, but it was so worth it!" -- Jake Darwen
