But taking her hand off the throttle caused her bike to nosedive, and she crashed to the ground. She scrambled back on her bike in time to finish second, and created one of the most memorable moments from X Games Los Angeles 2013.

Just like the women's final, the Men's Moto X Racing final featured an exciting last-lap pass. Josh Hill, right, was leading most of the race but Justin Brayton, second from right, pinned him into a barrier on a corner, passed him and rode to his first gold medal. Hill picked up the silver.

Laia Sanz: Enduro X
Spanish rider Laia Sanz captured her third Women's Enduro X gold medal of the year at X Games Los Angeles. As usual Sanz dueled with Maria Forsberg, who had won gold at X Games Munich, but Sanz prevailed again just as she did in Foz do Iguau and Barcelona.

Taddy Blazusiak raced his way back to the top of the Men's Enduro X podium at X Games Los Angeles. Blazusiak won gold earlier this year at X Games Foz do Iguaçu, earned bronze at X Games Munich and finished fourth at X Games Barcelona.
