Brazilian pool and park ripper Isadora Pacheco, 18, makes her rookie appearance at X Games Japan 2023. She grew up in the same Rio Tavares neighborhood of Florianópolis, Brazil as 6-time Men’s Skateboard Park gold medalist Pedro Barros, who has coached and mentored since she was 5 years old. Best known for her 10th place finish representing Brazil at the Tokyo Olympics, she has also been a podium fixture in Brazilian contests including the famed STU contest series, and skated in the short-lived Vans Park Series in 2018-2019. She first made an international splash as a 14 and Under competitor at the legendary Vans Pool Party in California, her first contest outside of Brazil.
