Lucas foster hails from Telluride, Colorado. He made history at the 2022 Laax Open, landing a first-in-halfpipe-competition backside 1620. Originally from Telluride, Colorado, he currently lives in Frisco, Colorado and trains in the pipe at Copper Mountain. He has been catching notice for stomping his double McTwist 1260, one of the most difficult tricks in snowboarding, and a new alley-oop variation of the trick he learned in July 2022. He finished 5th in SuperPipe at XG Aspen 2022, redemption after falling in all four runs in his 2020 debut. Aspen 2025 will be his 4th appearance.
