Syrja has made two X Games appearances, with his best result coming at Aspen 2020, where he finished seventh in Big Air after finishing 1st in the elimination round. In 2025, he earned silver at the World Championships in Engadin, Switzerland, highlighted by a nose butter 1800 and a switch butter double bio 1440. Still chasing history—no Finnish skier has ever won X Games gold. Currently lives in Ruka, Finland, where winter dominates and daylight drops to just two hours on some December days. Has also qualified for the Milano–Cortina Olympic Games.
