About Mami Tezuka

X Games 2021 silver medalist and 2022 bronze medalist Mami Tezuka is, as they say, a skater’s skater: a park and pool ripper as comfortable in gritty backyard bowls and DIY spots as she is in perfectly-made X Games Skateboard Park courses. She has arguably the best frontside Smith grind in all of skateboarding, and is one of the only women from the current crop of transition skaters who has broken through to filming core skate video parts. The must-see flicks: “Destiny” (2022) and “Sorceress” (2021) for Blood Wizard Skateboards. She turned pro for Blood Wizard in 2022. X Games Chiba 2024 is her first return to X Games since a September 2024 left knee injury that required surgery and kept her off her board for six months.
