About Miro Tabanelli
Miro is a rising star in freestyle skiing, making history as the first Italian male skier to compete in a trick discipline at the X Games, when he placed 4th in Big Air at Aspen 2024. He was rewarded for his creative grabs, especially his fourth jump when he did a tailgrab to double Japan. Miro has earned strong results on the World Cup circuit, with 2nd place finishes in Copper (Dec. 2023) and Beijing (Dec. 2024). He ranked 3rd in the 2024 World Cup Big Air standings. Miro studies physical education online while training. He splits time between Pozza di Fassa in the Dolomites, where he lives with his sister Flora, and Sestola. He’s sponsored by the Italian Army.
