On the podium in each of the first two Women’s BMX Park events at X Games (silver at X Games Ventura 2024, bronze at X Games Salt Lake City 2025), Perris Benegas is one of the stars of the discipline. She was the 2023 NORA Cup Women’s Rider Of The Year, and the silver medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics after narrowly missing the podium at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, finishing 4th. She says she loves speed and “hitting the boost button.” Growing up in Reno, she often rode with her older brother Tyler and the neighborhood boys. A memorable moment for her was witnessing Travis Pastrana’s first double backflip at X Games LA 2006, where she got a photo with him.
