About Sena Tomita
The X Games Aspen 2022 Women’s Snowboard SuperPipe gold medalist (and 2022 Beijing Olympics bronze medalist) took a gap year to reset during the 2022-2023 winter season, but was quickly back to her winning ways with a string of World Cup podiums after her return and, in March 2025, her first career World Cup win in Calgary, Canada. The very next week she won the debut of Shaun White’s Snow League event in Aspen. She returns to the X Games field in 2026 for the first time since her win. Also a strong powder rider, Sena grew up riding with her younger sister in Myoko, Niigita, Japan: Ruki Tomita is also an accomplished snowboarder and finished 4th in her most recent X Games appearance, in 2023.
