X Games rookie and Nitro Circus rider, Tom Richards grew up in Wagga Wagga, NSW–so good they named it twice. The youngest of four siblings, he followed in the tire tracks of his older brother Ben, also an X Games competitor (MTX Best Trick silver, Osaka 2025). Inspired early by neighbor and pro rider Truman Carroll, he was doing backflips to dirt by age 16 at Jacko Strong’s house. He’s been riding there since he was 8, learning from legends like Jacko and Rob Adelberg. In 2024, he quit his carpentry job to chase his freestyle dream full-time. Hobbies include dirt bikes, skydiving, fishing, camping and mountain biking.
