Yumeka Oda won Women’s Skateboard Street Best Trick gold (with a kickflip frontside feeble grind on the 10-stair handrail) and Street bronze at X Games Ventura 2024, adding to her Street bronze from X Games 2022. She is quickly becoming one of the most powerful and consistent skaters in the discipline. She won her first-ever international contest in 2018, traveling from Nagoya, Japan to compete in the Exposure contest in California, and won the U14 am division there. Multiple Street League podiums and recent wins including the 2023 World Skate championship title and 2023 & 2024 Japanese national championship titles prove she can hang with the best.
