About Chloe Kim
A decisive gold medal — her 7th — at X Games Aspen 2024 marked the 10-year anniversary of Chloe Kim’s stunning debut, taking silver behind her mentor Kelly Clark at XG Aspen Aspen 2014 at age 13. Fitting symmetry: Kim’s 2024 gold medal tied Clark’s record for most gold in the X Games SuperPipe. Chloe has been nearly unstoppable for more than a decade, in and out of X Games. She’s podium-perfect at X Games prior to Aspen 2025, with 9 medals from 9 appearances: 7 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze. At Aspen 2025 she’ll have an opportunity to come even with Shaun White’s record 8 for most gold in any X Games SuperPipe discipline. She’s also now a 2-time Olympic gold medalist (PyeongChang 2018, Beijing 2022) and has won pretty much every other major halfpipe event around the world.
