Courage Adams, making his sixth X Games appearance at Osaka 2025, is one of the most stylish and precise street riders in BMX. Born in Benin City, Nigeria, and raised in Spain, he became the first X Games athlete from an African country outside of South Africa. He earned bronze at XG Chiba 2024 (representing Spain) and silver at XG Japan 2023 (representing Nigeria), getting in as an alternate. Courage now represents Spain but keeps close ties to his Nigerian roots. He recently filmed a Red Bull video project in Nigeria called Encouraged. Fluent in English and Spanish, he became a father to daughter Daphne in late 2024.
