About Rim Nakamura
Rim Nakamura is a two-time X Games silver medalist in BMX Park (Chiba 2024, Minneapolis 2019) and the first Japanese rider to both compete and podium in an X Games BMX event. At 17, he became the second-youngest BMX medalist in X Games history. He placed 5th at both the Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics and finished 2nd in the 2024 UCI World Cup Overall. Born and raised in Kyoto, Rim was introduced to BMX by his father, Tatsuj, who owns a bike shop. His name–Rim–reflects the family’s love for cycling. He’s now a rising celebrity in Japan.
