About Anni Karava
Anni Karava is redefining Finnish women’s freeskiing on the world stage. At X Games Aspen 2025, she earned bronze medals in Knuckle Huck and Slopestyle, marking the first X Games medals by a Finnish woman since Enni Rukajärvi’s 2019 SBD Slopestyle gold. A year earlier, Karava finished 4th in Knuckle Huck as a rookie and became the first Finnish woman skier to compete in a trick discipline at X Games. Her competitive rise has continued with five World Cup podiums, including big air gold in Beijing (December 2025). She was named 2024 Newschoolers Female Skier of the Year.
