Yura Murase made her X Games debut in 2023, finishing 7th in Women’s Snowboard Big Air. The younger sister of X Games gold medalist Cokomo Murase, Yura won the big air title at the 2024 Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon, Korea on January 28, the same day Cocomo was busy winning Big Air gold at X Games. Yura also has recent FIS junior wins from the Australia/New Zealand Cup at Cardrona NZL in September and the European Cup at Corvatsch, SUI in April. She was the 2022 FIS Junior World Champion in slopestyle.
