About Yuro Nagahara
Yuro Nagahara finished 4th in his rookie appearance at X Games Chiba 2022, the best finish to date for any Japanese skater in Men’s Skateboard Park (Japan has become a dominant force in every other X Games skateboarding discipline). He won the Rockstar Energy Open in August 2024, and finished 15th at the 2024 Paris Olympics, representing Japan. He’s also the 2023 Japanese national champion, and has several top-10 finishes on the World Skate circuit. He’s from Hakuba in Nagasaki, Japan, and a longtime local at Hakuba True Players Skatepark. He’s a founding member of the new Tanabata Skateboards team, a partnership with his close friend, 2-time X Games gold medalist Sky Brown.
