Vert skateboarding prodigy Reese Nelson earned a silver medal in Women’s Skateboard Street in her debut at X Games California 2023 at age 10 years, 8 months, briefly setting a new record for youngest X Games medalist. And, to do it, she brought back-to-back 540s, a Reese Nelson original (the “breakfast burger” is a kickflip roast beef grab to fakie), and incredibly technical lip tricks like a switch frontside feeble grind and a fakie Ollie to Losi grind. The Eminem-loving tween is now also the youngest woman with a signature pro skateboard deck deal, officially a member of Tony Hawk’s Birdhouse pro team at age 12.
