X Games Chiba 2024 rookie Skateboard Park bronze medalist Heili Sirvio was born in Helsinki, Finland, the daughter of former pro snowboarder Freddie Sirvio and personal trainer Anni Sirvio, and mostly raised in Gold Coast, Australia, where she grew up surfing. When the pandemic hit in 2020, with nothing else to do, she started messing around on her dad’s skateboard. Less than 4 years later she made the Olympic finals, finishing 5th at the Paris 2024 Games. She’s a member of the Level Up Australia crew that has also given rise to X Games skaters Arisa Trew and Jada Ward. She’s also a member of the H-Street Skateboards team, and is mentored by its co-founder, vert skating legend Tony Magnusson.
