About Red Gerard
Don’t let his super casual style and demeanor fool you: Red Gerard, 25, is a fierce competitor. He finally won his first X Games Slopestyle gold in 2024 (and another in 2025), after previously notching back-to-back slopestyle wins at Dew Tour in 2020 and 2021, 4 World Cup slopestyle wins, and a surprise slopestyle gold at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics at age 17. He’s done it all. He’s just as invested in his parallel career as a backcountry film star: his latest, “Short & Sweet,” was directed by his brother Malachi Gerard which co-stars Ben Ferguson and Hailey Langland, among others. He’s longtime member of the U.S. Snowboard Team, and now also a member of the Arbor Snowboards team: his first signature board for Arbor was released in January 2026.
