Sara Shimizu will be the youngest athlete competing at X Games Aspen 2025, at age 15 years, 2 months, but has already been making a big splash in recent World Cup events, including an upset victory at the U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain in December 2024 against a stacked field including 7-time X Games gold medalist Chloe Kim, who finished 4th. The 2024 Japanese Junior National Champion is known for back-to-back 900s at the top of her pipe, and for her amplitude throughout her run.
