About Brandon Cormier
In from the alternate list and riding an underpowered stock sled, Brandon Cormier stunned for Snowmobile Freestyle gold in his rookie appearance at X Games Aspen 2020, and dedicated the win to the memory of his mother Geraldine, who taught him how to jump snowmobiles when he was a little kid (and who died of cancer in 2018). Half a year later, in July 2020, Brandon named his firstborn son Aspen to help further mark the occasion. Now a father of two (daughter Hazel was born in 2021) and expecting a third child in April 2026, he’s bringing the family to XG Aspen 2026, aiming to defend his gold medal in the long-awaited return of Snowmobile Freestyle.
