About Rasmus Johansson

Rasmus Johansson was 13 years old in 2007 when a Hollywood film crew came to Riksgransen, Sweden, to shoot Babylon A.D., starring Vin Diesel. The movie featured snowmobile stunts choreographed by X Games sport organizer Joe Duncan and performed by X Games athletes Paul Thacker and Chris Burandt, and Johansson’s dad let them use his garage to work on the sleds. Rasmus first started trying tricks on his snowmobile while they were still there, and Duncan jokingly told him to call him when he was ready for X Games. Two months before X Games 2016, Johansson took him up on the offer: he finished 6th. He was an alternate in 2017, then finished 4th in 2018, 5th in 2019, 4th in 2020. Now with much more experience, the Ski-Doo ambassador and FMX Gladiator Games warrior is a podium contender as snowmobiles return for X Games Aspen 2026.
