About Alais Develay

Develay grew up skiing at Font-Romeu in the Pyrenees of southern France, starting in alpine racing before discovering freestyle. After competing in FIS freestyle events, she gradually shifted away from the traditional contest circuit and found her footing in alternative competitions, where creativity mattered more than scores. Now based in the Innsbruck area of Austria, she focuses on street and jib-oriented contests. Her proudest accomplishments include winning SLVSH Cup in Grandvalira, turning heads at 2025 Jib League and earning the 2026 Newschoolers, “Breakthrough Skier”. Known for her creativity, versatility, and willingness to go fast and big, she’s especially recognized for front flips. As she puts it simply: “I love skiing so bad.”
