X GAMES FOUNDATION LAUNCHES “X GAMES IN THE COMMUNITY” TICKET INITIATIVE AHEAD OF NEW ORLEANS CHAMPIONSHIP
Program will provide 3,000 tickets to Louisiana non-profits and begins with donation to New Orleans youth organization 1Up Bike Life
NEW ORLEANS (July 13, 2026) – Ahead of the inaugural MoonPay X Games League Championship in New Orleans, the X Games Foundation, in partnership with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, today announced the launch of “X Games in the Community,” a ticket initiative providing 3,000 tickets to non-profits in Louisiana focused on youth, action sports, first responders and military with complimentary access to X Games.
“The X Games Foundation was created to get more young people into action sports and make our events more accessible to the communities we visit,” said Jeremy Bloom, CEO of X Games. “X Games in the Community is about more than donating tickets. It is about removing barriers, opening the door for kids to experience X Games firsthand, and giving them a real connection to the athletes, culture and sports that can inspire them.”
The program will begin in New Orleans with a ticket donation to 1Up Bike Life, a local youth-focused community organization that uses bike riding, mentorship and community engagement to create positive opportunities for young people.
The donation will be announced in collaboration with New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno as part of a broader effort to connect the championship event with youth-serving organizations throughout Louisiana.
“By providing tickets to 1Up Bike Life, we’re giving young people in our community the opportunity to experience a world-class event while celebrating the shared values of determination and community that define both 1Up Bike Life and X Games Foundation,” said Mayor Helena Moreno. “We are proud to help make this experience possible for our youth and to inspire the next generation through the power of sports.”
The initiative reflects the X Games Foundation’s mission to expand access to action sports culture while strengthening the communities that inspire it. Through partnerships with community organizations across Louisiana, the program will introduce young people to the excitement of skateboarding, BMX and Moto X while creating no cost opportunities for them to experience these sports firsthand.
The inaugural MoonPay X Games League Championship will bring together the world’s top skateboard, BMX and Moto X athletes for three days of competition, live music and fan experiences. The X Games in the Community initiative will continue in the weeks leading up to championship weekend through additional partnerships with youth-serving organizations across Louisiana.
