Cordano Russell earned Skateboard Street Best Trick silver in his X Games debut at X Games Chiba 2024. As a varsity football player in high school, he played defensive end and tight end, and he’s built like it: 6’4″ tall and weighing in at 230 pounds. Born in Ontario, Canada, he holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and represents Canada in international competition; he officially joined the Canadian National Skateboarding team in 2023, and finished 7th at the 2024 Paris Olympics. A 2024 documentary, “Skater XXL,” directed by Thrasher editor Michael Burnett, follows his life story. He turned pro for Toy Machine Skateboards in July 2025.
