About Halldor Helgason
It’s been 13 years since Halldor Helgason astounded as a rookie in Snowboard Big Air at XG Aspen 2010, earning the only perfect score in the discipline’s history with a frontside double cork 1080 and a backside double cork 1260, a groundbreaking trick at the time. It’s still Iceland’s only medal at X Games. Now a mover and shaker in the snowboard industry as the owner of multiple brands including Lobster Snowboards, and one of the most fun-loving, colorful characters in snowboarding, he made a memorable return to X Games in 2020 to throw down in Knuckle Huck, where he turned into a heelside carve, catching his toe edge on the knuckle and launching into a massive frontflip.
