Representing the east coast, Joey Okesson grew up in Southberry, Connecticut and riding in Vermont. He trained at the Okemo Mountain School in Vermont from age 9, and has emerged as stylish trick innovator. Though he hasn’t quite caught up with some of the 1260s and 1440s his competitors are throwing, he has a fun, loose, wild style that can be exhilarating, and his double Michalchuk is a standout trick.
