About Sarah Hoefflin
A late bloomer, Sarah Hoefflin was just a weekend ski warrior until she graduated from university in 2013. After earning a neuroscience degree, Hoefflin decided to put the “real world” on hold while she pursued her skiing dreams. The gamble paid off. She picked up the sport quickly and surprised the world by winning Big Air at X Games Aspen 2018 as a rookie. In the process, she became the first woman to land doubles in multiple directions in a ski competition. She then rode that momentum to South Korea, shocking the ski world with slopestyle gold at the PyeongChang Olympics. She has 5 total XG medals. XG Aspen 2025 is her ninth appearance.
