About Sean FitzSimons
X Games rookie Sean FitzSimons, 22, is a strong snowboarder and skateboarder from Hood River, Oregon. He had a breakout season in 2021-2022, finishing 4th at Dew Tour in December, then won the Laax Open to make the 4-man U.S. Olympic team. At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, he impressed in the slopestyle qualifiers, finishing 3rd behind Yiming Su and Mark McMorris, but slipped to 12th in the final. He injured his right ankle during the Big Air qualifiers, finishing 17th. Watch for him to impress with strong skate style on the rails, and for his triple cork 1620s on the jumps.
