About Shane O'neill

With incredibly technical tricks and a reputation as a perfectionist, X Games 2022 gold medalist Shane O’neill is one of the most beloved skaters of all time, and brings and extraordinary level of difficulty in his skating. He now owns 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze at X Games, 9 career Street League podiums, and a 2021 Tampa Pro win. But his true genius may be as a skateboarding talent scout: he was an early backer of Yuto Horigome, now a three-time X Games gold medalist and the first pro on Shane’s April Skateboards team, and of Rayssa Leal, who claimed her first gold at XG Chiba 2022 and her second at XG Japan 2023, and officially turned pro for April Skateboards in May 2022
