A New Era of Global Action Sports COmpetition Begins June 26-28
A new era of X Games begins this summer. From June 26–28, the inaugural MoonPay X Games League (XGL) officially launches in Sacramento with three days of world-class action sports, live music and festival energy — airing nationwide on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 and streaming domestically across the ESPN App for Unlimited plan subscribers and globally across Roku Sports Channel, X Games YouTube, Kick and Amazon FAST.
Nearly 100 of the world’s top Skateboard, BMX and Moto X athletes will battle across 18 medal events at Cal Expo in Sacramento, delivering one of the most anticipated action sports events in years. Fans can expect huge tricks, heated rivalries and unforgettable moments as the new team-based MoonPay X Games League makes its historic debut.
The launch of XGL transforms X Games into a year-round global league, introducing city-based teams and a format designed to bring fans closer to the competition than ever before. Representing Los Angeles, New York, São Paulo and Tokyo, the inaugural X Games Clubs will compete all summer long as athletes fight for medals, momentum and team pride.
The Sacramento debut is expected to feature some of the biggest stars in action sports, including Nyjah Huston, Ryan Williams, Chloe Covell, Arisa Trew and Kevin Peraza, alongside the next generation of global talent redefining what’s possible on a skateboard, BMX bike or Moto X course.
Off the field of play, MoonPay X Games Sacramento 2026 will deliver a full festival experience with X Fest attractions, immersive fan activations and major live performances from Kaskade, Mustard and Subtronics — continuing X Games’ unmatched blend of sports, music and culture.
Fans across the U.S. can watch live on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, with every moment also streaming domestically on the ESPN App for Unlimited plan subscribers, and worldwide across Roku Sports Channel, X Games YouTube, Kick and the X Games TV FAST Channel on Amazon.
