Colorado’s Birk Irving, a two-time XG SuperPipe medalist: silver, Aspen 2023; bronze, Aspen 2021, first turned heads when he was 10 years old and was featured on ESPN’s “Next X”. He’s the grandson of writer John Irving, whose works have earned him a National Book Award (fiction, The World According to Garp), and an Academy Award for best adapted screenplay (The Cider House Rules). His younger sister, Svea, will also compete in Women’s Ski SuperPipe at XG Aspen 2025. Irving recently bought his first house in Steamboat Springs, CO
