About Nick Goepper

For more than a decade, 6-time X Games medalist (4 gold) Nick Goepper was strictly a Slopestyle competitor. He retired briefly in 2022/2023 before shifting his competitive focus to SuperPipe over the 2023 summer. Just over a two years later, Goepper has collected seven World Cup podiums and a 7th X Games medal, SuperPipe gold (Aspen 2025). He also just punched his ticket for Milano-Cortina–his fourth Olympics, first for halfpipe. Nick has a history of performing on the sport’s biggest stages: In addition to his 4 XG Slopestyle gold (most among men in the discipline at XG), he also owns medals from all 3 Olympic Slopestyle contests. He’s the only man or woman skier with more than 1 Olympic Slopestyle podium. Only two other skiers have ever won both Slopestyle and SuperPipe and it had been 17 years (Tanner Hall and Candide Thovex) before Goepper did it in 2025. Grew up skiing Perfect North Slopes in southern Indiana. Elevation is 800 feet with a vertical drop of 400 feet.
