About Judd Henkes
Board sports lifer, Judd Henkes started surfing and skating in SoCal at age 2 and took up snowboarding at age 4 on a family trip to Mammoth Mountain. Initially a halfpipe competitor, he switched to slopestyle in 2017 and came up fast. Judd has big tricks, is known for finding creative lines and combos on course, and is quickly making a name for himself among the best in the world, with 3 career FIS World Cup slopestyle podiums and one FIS World Championships podium to date. “Greenhorn,” a breakthrough video directed by Spencer “Gimbal God” Whiting and featuring Judd’s snowboarding and surfing, was released in 2023. In 2025 he was involved in half a dozen of the biggest snowboard video projects of the year, including Sage Kotsenburg’s “Eternal Descent,” the Ayumu and Kaishu Hirano documentary, “Burazāzu,” and Monster Energy’s “Siberian Express” and “Valley of The Eagles.”
