Higashino

Taka Higashino is a Moto X legend and a fan favorite in Japan. A longtime staple of Moto X Freestyle, Taka is known for his explosive runs, high energy and crowd-pleasing tricks like the rock solid backflip. Taka became the first Japanese rider to compete in XG Moto X (’07); first Japanese Moto X competitor to win gold at X Games (2012 Freestyle), which he twice repeated in 2013 for 3 consecutive golds to become the ONLY Japanese athlete to three-peat an XG discipline. His presence in the space has helped grow the sport in his home country. Taka now lives and trains in California. XG Sacramento 2026 is his 23rd XG appearance.
