Genki is set for his 11th X Games appearance at XG Osaka 2025. He has earned three X Games silver medals in Best Whip–with the last coming in 2021. A talented racer early on, he competed in Speed & Style at Austin 2015, finishing 8th as a rookie. Genki is the second Japanese athlete to medal in MTX X Games history, following Taka Higashino. He lives full-time in Osaka with his family.
